Forme Technologies LLC ("Forme", "we", "us", or "our") provides industry-standard writing tools and services for screenwriters, novelists, filmmakers, producers, and publishers. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal data when you access or use our websites, applications, and services (the "Service").

By using the Service, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to all of the terms in this policy, or the Terms of Service, you may not use the Service.

• Name, email address, password, and contact details
• Billing and payment information (via our third-party payment processor, Stripe)
• Content you upload, submit, or generate using StoryNotes™, StoryShots™, and other tools
• Correspondence sent to support or customer service
• Marketing preferences and communication opt-ins

B. Automatically Collected Data (Usage Data)

• IP address, browser type, device type, and OS
• Access times and duration of usage
• Interactions with features and tools within the Service
• Referring/exit pages and clickstream data

• Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information and of targeted advertising

We do not sell personal information for money. However, our use of advertising and analytics cookies (such as Google services on our marketing website) may be considered "sharing" or "targeted advertising" under some state laws. To opt out, you may email support@useforme.io with "Privacy Rights Request" in the subject line, adjust your browser cookie settings, or manage your preferences through Google's ad settings.

California residents may exercise their rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) by emailing support@useforme.io with "California Privacy Rights Request" in the subject line. You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf; we may require verification of the agent's authority and your identity.

9. European and UK Users

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your personal data under the following legal bases: performance of our contract with you (providing the Service), our legitimate interests (securing and improving the Service), your consent (marketing communications), and compliance with legal obligations.

10. Age Requirement

The Service is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, contact us immediately at support@useforme.io and we will delete it.

11. AI-Powered Features and Generative Tools

When you use AI-assisted tools like StoryNotes™, StoryDecks™, or StoryShots™, your inputs are transmitted securely to third-party AI providers strictly for the purpose of processing your request and generating a response:

• Text-based AI features are processed by Google, Anthropic, or OpenAI, none of which use your inputs to train their AI models.
• Image generation is processed by APIFrame, a third-party API platform, and Midjourney, the underlying image model. Your image prompts are handled in accordance with their respective privacy policies, linked in Section 3.

Forme does not train AI models on your creative content or AI-generated output.

12. Third-Party Links

Our Service may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those websites. Please review their privacy policies separately.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date and notify users as required by law.

Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

This Privacy Policy shall be governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising under this Privacy Policy shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Sheridan County, Wyoming.

15. Severability and Waiver

If any provision is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable. The remaining provisions remain in full effect. No waiver of any term shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or any other term.
